Al Pacino in 1960: Part 1

In 1966 he got in to “The Actors Studio” where he met acting teacher Lee Strasberg. Even today Pacino is the co-president of The Actors Studio along with Harvey Keitel and Ellen Burstyn. Then he started doing some stage acts. In 1968 he starred in Israel Horovitz’s “The Indian Wants the Bronx” as a street punk, Murph. Al Pacino won “Obie Award” for the best actor for his role. Then later he performed the same act in Italy. He later recalled that for performing for Italian audience was a marvelous experience.
